Just Announced: Kaiko Acquires Vinter, Europe’s Leading Index Provider
Kaiko Passes SOC 2 Type II Accreditation for Second Year in a Row.
Demonstrating our commitment to data security and reliability
April 24th, 2024
We are proud to announce we have passed our SOC2 Type II accreditation for the second year in a row. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest level of security and reliability standards for our data and internal systems. For our clients, this means the following:
Uncompromising Data Controls: We have established rigorous protocols and safeguards to protect and enhance the reliability of all data.
An Emphasis on Trust: We adhere to the highest data security standards, ensuring you can trust Kaiko as a business.
Streamlined Vendor Selection: We are one of the only SOC2 Type II certified crypto data providers, which makes vendor selection more efficient for businesses that have rigorous security requirements.
Designed as an independent assessment by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a Type II SOC2 certification is an uncompromising and rigorous test of a company’s data controls. A Type II certification represents an ongoing commitment to data accessibility and security, beyond the more limited-in-scope Type 1 accreditation.
Specifically, Kaiko underwent a rigorous assessment process that involved an independent audit of its controls and processes by a ‘Big 4’ firm. The audit covered all aspects of the company’s operations, including protection measures, incident management, business continuity, and security continuous monitoring.
As a data provider to global financial institutions, achieving SOC 2 Type II certification ensures Kaiko’s clients can be confident there are adequate and sustainable security measures and processes in place to protect our systems and data.
